WORD WORKS: Christ Born of Mary. Matthew 1: 18-25
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His
mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came
together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.
19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not
wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put
her away secretly.20 But while he thought about these things,                                                                                                                                                         behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying,
“Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary
you wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy
Spirit.
21 “And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His
name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”
22. Now all this was done that it might be fulfilled which
was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying:
23 “Behold a virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and
they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated,
“God with us.”
24 Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel
of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife,
25 and did not know her till she had brought forth her
firstborn Son. And he called His name JESUS.
JESUS came as a son of man. He was a great example of
man building a relationship with God. Believing God to
bring to pass all that He said He would do through JESUS.
MAN NEEDS THE GOSPEL. Romans 10:9-13. 9 that if you
confess with your mouth the LORD JESUS and believe in
your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will
be saved. 10. For with the heart one believes to
righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to
salvation. 11. For the Scripture says, “ Whoever believes on
Him will not be put to shame.” 12. For there is no
distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same LORD                                                                                                                                                                          over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13. For “whoever
calls upon the name of the LORD shall be saved.”

WORD WORKS: MERRY- Greek, euthumeo, compound of
eu and thumos. EU DESCRIBES A GOOD FEELING, THE
WORD EUPHORIC COMES FROM THAT. It could describe
someone who is elated, thrilled, or ecstatic about
something. The word THUMOS DESCRIBES the idea of
swelling emotions or a strong and growing passion about
something. Put these two words together and they are
powerful. The new word expresses the idea of a person
who is just about to explode with joy!

So much excitement inside that he can hardly contain himself, and can no longer
restrain the happiness he feels!
JAMES 5:13 “…IS THERE ANYONE AMONG YOU WHO IS SO
EXCITED THAT HE CAN HARDLY CONTAIN IT AND WHO FEELS AS
IF HE IS ABOUT TO BURST WITH JOY? IF THAT PERSON IS SO
OVERJOYED AND TICKLED THAT HE CAN NO LONGER RESTRAIN
THE HAPPINESS HE FEELS, LET HIM SING THE SONG HE FEELS IN
HIS HEART.”
That is a moment that should not be passed over. Let
your heart be glad and rejoice. Great are those
moments when your spirit is filled with God’s Presence.
That’s why James says when you are filled with that
kind of overflowing joy, “…Is any merry? Let him sing
psalms. Let your emotions loose when are overjoyed at
something God has done for you. Go ahead and
express yourself. Don’t be concerned if other people
are around you. It healthy for you to let your joy out.
We all have had experiences like that. Take the time to
reflect back when you were overtaken with incredible
joy that you needed to express yourself in some way.
Such as singing, take off running to release the joy, or
start hugging the people around you, even crying,
because your heart was so touched by the event.

Don’t let your rejoicing depend on the others around
you. Jesus will be happy to celebrate with you! So shout it
out, sing it out, smile it out, run it out, happy cry it out.
Just don’t miss the opportunity to release a joyfulsound.

ENVY, Greek - phthonos A hostile feeling
toward someone because that person has something - an
advantage, a benefit, a position - that the other does not posses
but would like to have.
* JEALOUSY, Strong's Greek: 2206. ζηλόω (zéloó) -- to be
jealous

https://bibleapps.com › greek
From zelos; to have warmth of feeling for or against --
affect, covet (earnestly), (have) desire, (move with)
envy, be jealous over, (be) zealous(-ly affect).
Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest,
which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness,
lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance,
emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings,
murders, drunkenness, reveling, and such like. . .
Because the chief priest were envious of Jesus they felt
threatened and insecure of Jesus’ popularity. Pilot knew
that their insecurity was driving them to have Jesus
charged with a criminal offense. They wanted to remove
Jesus so that the publicity that had been focused on Him
would shift back to the priesthood.
Mark 15:10 For He (Pilot) was aware that the chief priests
had delivered Him (Jesus) up because of envy.
II Timothy 3:4 Paul said that this kind of hedonism
(behavior) would be a prevalent problem in the last days.
“lovers of pleasure”
If you let your flesh lead you, it will steal from you the good
things that Jesus has set before you. Jesus has set many
things in front of us to do that are productive and edifying.

WORD WORKS: THE PEACEABLE FRUIT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
Renner Ministries teaching

Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but
grievous; nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of
righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
HEBREW 12:11
If you are going to be mightly used by God, your flesh must
be disciplined so it can become an instrument through                                                                                                                                                                          which the Holy Spirit can flow. You have to pay the price of
crucifying the flesh in order to have the resurrection power
of Jesus Christ expressed through your life.
CHASTENING” GREEK, paideia = instruction for the
education or instruction of a child. This also includes adults.
In Luke 23:16 & 22 the verb form of the word paideia is
translated as the word “chastise” and refers to Jesus being
whipped or scourged as punishment.
Hebrew 12:11 refers to disciplinary attitudes and action
that lead to one’s betterment in life or to ones education.
So when this verse speaks of “chastening” in
Hebrews 12:11, it refers to disciplinary attitudes and
actions that lead to one’e betterment in life or to one’s
education. The word “grievous” is the word lupe, the Greek word
for pain, distress, trouble, grief, or sorrow.
Although the discipline itself is good for us and
provides us with the means to change, the flesh hates it
when discipline is forced on it!
Hebrew 12:11 says that this discipline will yield “…the
peaceable fruits of righteousness unto them which are
exercised thereby.” The word “exercised” is the Greek
word gumnadzo. This word depicts radical discipline! It
was the word the ancient Greeks used to portray the
athletes who exercised, trained, and prepared for
competition in the often barbaric athletic games of the
ancient world. It is where we get the word gymnasium.
In order to have progress, you will be required to do
more than you’ve been doing. You will have to say no to                                                                                                                                                                          your flesh, denying it’s appetites and disciplining yourself
to do what God says, even if your flesh doesn’t want to do
it. Let Holy Spirit exercise His discipline in your life.

Para Theou para means along side of, and it depicts
a very close, side-by-side, intimate position next to
someone else. The word theou. Is the Greek word for
GOD. These two words together in this verse, pictures
a person who comes right along side of God,

who comes as close to God as possible, who stands
side-by-side with Him.
JAMES 1:5 Actually tells us in the Greek Tense
God actually commands us to come to Him when we
need wisdom. The word indicates God wants us to be
firm and resolute when we request wisdom from HIm.
But there is a condition, “If any of you lack wisdom, let
him ask of God…”
That condition is found in the phrase, “of God.”
In this statement, God’s requirement of us before He
will give us the wisdom we need. If we want wisdom,
we must come right alongside of God in order to obtain
it. God wants a relationship with us. He doesn’t want
to just freely hand out answers to our problems. He
wants us to come to Him where He can love us and
fellowship with us and where we can feel and
experience His love. He wants us to spend time with
Him. The moment we get side-by-side with God He
opens His hand and reveals everything we need to
know and understand about the situations we are
facing.

It’s early, just after dawn. I plunge my spade into the blackest of soil, and grin as I hear that rowdy rooster from down the lane. He sounds extra energized this morning. Perhaps it’s the slight nip in the air? I hold my seemingly meager seeds and smile, pondering their potential and the transformation they’ll undergo.

I ready them for their slumber, covering them with their blanket of darkness.  I tuck them in tight as a cool hint of anticipation dances on the breeze, softly brushing my ponytail aside, reminding me the change of the season is here. Autumn. The season of transition, nudging us from a summer that was most likely too hot for many of us to a winter that will most likely be too cold for most of us.

I gently pat the bed and tell them to sleep well. Will these seeds I’ve sown yield a harvest I’ll be pleased with? I wonder what these months of transition and change will yield in my own life. Change. That word makes me so uneasy. So much uncertainty in this next season of my life.

My anticipation turns to anxiousness as the ‘what ifs’ parade through my mind. Will I yield fruit? Will my potential be made known? Will this season of my life be one of hurting or healing, absence or abundance, hardship or happiness?

I close my eyes and pray. I am comforted when He whispers Truth to me: No matter the changes that come my way, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is eternally unchanging and faithful—no matter the season, no matter the circumstances.

DREAMS-LANGUAGE OF HEAVEN by James W & Michal Goll
A dream is a series of thoughts, images, or emotions that
appear in our minds during sleep.
“From the very beginning God brought dreams and visions
into play to convey His message to His people. In Old
Testament times in particular, dream language was one of
His favorite means of communication: “Hear now My
words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, shall
make Myself known to him in a vision. I shall speak with
I’m in a dream.”

WORD GRAFTING

Said Jim Goll, “ One indispensable aspect of walking wisely
and effectively in the realm of dreams and visions is
grafting the Word of God into your mind and spirit. James,
the apostle to the tribes of Israel in Diaspora, says,
“Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains
of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted,
which is able to save your souls.”
James Goll has used 5 scriptures in particular that have
provided the foundational principles that have guided his
personal dream pilgrimage.

A dream is a series of thoughts, images, or emotions that appear in our minds during sleep.

Just as Jesus went off alone with His disciples , Jesus wants to get alone with us as His disciples today.  He has special words to release to each of us.

Dreams and visions often use parabolic language and, like parables, are mysteries that need careful deciphering. “For nothing is hidden, except to be revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it would come to light.  If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.”  And He was saying to them, “Take care what you listen to.  By your standard of measure it will be measured to you; and more will be given you besides.  For whoever has, to him more shall be given; and whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him.”    These scriptural truths give evidence that things are hidden for a divine purpose:  the purpose of being revealed.  This is very important where dreams and visions are concerned.  As you learn these revelatory ways, be prepared for God to visit you and speak secrets to you—things that in the beginning you might not understand fully. As your journey continues, and you receive more of the spirit of wisdom and revelation, you will gain a much greater understanding of the mysteries & secrets related to heavenly dreams and visions.
