We Believe
In the Bible as the inspired Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16)
In God Almighty, the creator of heaven and earth. (Genesis 1:2-28; Colossians 1:16-17)
In a triune God expressed as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; I John 5:7)
In our need of redemption. Sin separates us from God. (Ephesians 2:1-3; Colossians 1:21)
In Jesus Christ as the Son of God, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. (Luke 1:34-35 Matthew 1:18)
In Jesus' completed work of redemption on the Cross. Jesus walked the earth, died on the cross and rose from the dead so that we can be reconciled to God. (Ephesians 1:7; Matthew 27:50, Matthew 27:58-60; Matthew 28:7)
In the New Birth. The New Birth is necessary for all to be saved and it is received through faith in Jesus Christ by grace, apart from works. (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9)
In the simplicity of the Gospel. If we confess with our mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. (Romans 10:9,10)
In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues as a gift that today is still available to every believer. (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; Acts 19:4-5)
In divine healing, which is provided for in the atonement to give physical healing to the body. It is received through faith, by the laying on the hands, by the anointing of oil, and by the prayer of faith. (Isaiah 53:4-5; Mark 16:17-18; James 5:14-16)
In the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus shall return, and those who have died trusting in Him will be caught up or raptured with those who are still alive in Him to meet Jesus in the air. (1 Thessalonians 4:16,17)
