2 CORINTHIANS 4:3,4  

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of  them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious  gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.  

Actions of people that do not know Jesus! (Gospel hidden);  ignoring The Word, living a life of adultery, fornication,  stealing, murder, lying, even living a life of being good, etc.  

The lost are like a group of people that do things according  to the flesh, all the time.  

The lost are like driving at night with no headlights, yet they come to an intersection that has bright caution lights everywhere. Cautioning about a dead-end straight ahead.  At the dead-end is a cliff, 90’ straight drop. There are  guardrails at the dead-end, with more flashing lights.  But the lost person ignores the caution lights and ignores  the reason for the caution lights. His reasoning abilities  have been compromised! Compromised by the influence of  the devil.  

So the lost continue driving straight through the guardrails and over the cliff. They die, and go straight into hell. Sad.  

It is the devil who has bound the lost, and keeping them from being saved (bright caution lights=The Word/Salvation). To help save the lost we have the authority over evil  spirits that bind and blind the lost. We do not have authority over their human wills, but we do have control over evil  spirits that bind and blind men.  

So use this piece of The Word to help you get the lost saved. “Satan, in the Name of Jesus Christ, I break your  power over (anyone)’s life, and I claim his/her deliverance  and salvation.” Please re-read 2 Corinthians 4:3,4

December 1, we will officially be in the Winter season.

Transition means change. It signifies that there is something to leave behind and something to look forward to. Transitional seasons lead to the promises of God. God often does it in ways that are unfamiliar and sometimes unwelcome. The transition will lead to
some sort of pruning process that chips away at the things within us that are unlike Him.
 

During this transition time it’s like an eagle going through the molting stages. It knows when it’s time to make the transition. I believe Holy Spirit lets us know when it’s time to make a change for the better. The eagle surrenders to the transition, we must also surrender
to the transition. The eagle finds a safe place for the transition to take place. Jesus is our safe place as Holy Spirit guides us through the process. As we surrender to Jesus, the enemy finds no place in us during this vulnerable time. Psalm 91 becomes our covering. God’s
Word is our protection.
 

We must trust God’s Word. We must trust that He is trying to speak to us. Listen during prayer, worship to get into His Presence. Be still until He speaks. It’s hard but worth the wait. The eagle must wait, so must we.

*Red: Hebrew-Oudem = “red clay” Many biblical names (Adam, Esau & Edom) are derived from this Hebrew word meaning flesh. Can mean the Blood of Jesus, love of God, blood of lamb, atonement, salvation. Leaves turn red in fall.
 

*YELLOW: It is mentioned in God’s principle and in 1 Peter 1:7, God talks about trials and purging. (The trial of faith will be more precious than Gold and be tried with fire). Yellow is associated with fire (purification process). Can mean Faith, Glory of God, anointing, joy. Leaves turn yellow in fall.
 

*ORANGE: Is obtained by mixing red (flesh) and yellow (trials). The result is a color of fire which represents the Fire of God, deliverance and passionate praise. Leaves turn orange in fall.

*BROWN: End of a season, rages, people, pride, weary, faint. Leaves turn brown in fall.

Seasons within a season is a process within our lives as Holy
Spirit guides us through them. THESE colors represent different seasons in our lives within the big season. Easy or not, they must come for spiritual growth.
 

**BLUE: Heaven, the Holy Spirit authority. If we are obedient to Holy Spirit we will be prepared for the NEXT season.

Sacrifice is a huge part of the salvation story, but there is much more to it for us as individuals - our love and devotion and obedience and sacrifice for His Kingdom.

Verses ABOUT the sacrifice God made for humanity:

JOHN 15: 12-14 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you.”
 

MARK 10:45 “For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
 

HEBREWS 13:15 “Through Him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.”
 

PSALM 51:16-17 “For you will not delight in sacrifice, or I would give it; you will not be pleased with a burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.”
 

EPHESIANS 5:1-2 “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. Walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”­­
 

Turkeys made their sacrifices to feed us. :) God gave His Son to feed us, so we could have eternal life.

 EVIL REPORT - It is a report of doubt. (A believer has no more business peddling doubt than he
does peddling dope!)

NUMBERS 13:31-33 . . . "We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And
they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The
land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land  that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the
people that we saw in it are men of a great stature . . . giants. . . and we were in our own sight as grasshop-
pers, and so we were in their sight."

God had already told the children of Israel that He had given them this land flowing with milk and hon-
ey. “But,” they complained, “there are giants in the land, and we are not able to take it!”

The children of Israel confessed what they believed. They believed they couldn’t succeed. Then they
said, “We can’t.” And they received exactly what they said! Israel accepted the majority report —-the evil re-
port—-and said they couldn’t take the land. And Israel got exactly what they said: God did not allow that gen-
era@on to take the land.

Jesus said in Mark 11:23 that you will have what-ever you say.

Confession: I refuse to be a doubt peddler. I refuse to have an evil report!

Our heart is the key to our deepest fulfillment and the doorway to experiencing the profound peac, gratitude, joy, safety and unconditional love.

God said let US (FATHER, SON, HOLY SPIRIT) make mankinf in Our image, after our likeness ... Gen. 1:26

Who against hope BELIEVED in hope, that he (Abraham), might become the father of many nations, ACCORDING TO THAT WHICH WAS SPOKEN, So shall thy seed be. Romans 4:18

What did Abraham believe? He believed that which was spoken ... Abraham did not believe according to what he could see, geel, what his physical senses told him, not what his mind told him. Abraham, believed according to what was spoken by God.

So, even in our adverse situations, remembe what was spoken over you from God. When people or situations speak against you and say, "you don't have what it takes," just stand your ground! Believe that your spiritual heart says, and what The Word says about you!

Know the scriptures ... they will bring you through anything; good or bad! So believe according to that which was spoken over you!

I am strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in my inner man by the Holy Spirit indwelling my innermost being.  Christ actually dwells, settles down, abides, and makes His permanent home in my heart! Today is encouragement from Kenneth Hagin Sr, from his book Faith Food Devotional.

May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty Power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit {Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality}.  May Christ through your faith {actually} dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts. . .  (Ephesian 3:16-17).     
                                  
How does Christ actually dwell, settle down and make His permanent home in your heart?  Through your faith.

That’s what God wants to do:  Make His permanent home in your heart!  But that’s what Christians haven’t allowed Him to do!  (Remember:  This scripture was written to born-again, spirit-filled Christians.)       
                                
Christian sing, “Come by here, Lord, come by here,” implying that the Lord’s not here. But if we could just get Him to come by, He might do something for us.  And, we sing, “Reach out and touch Jesus as He passes by.”  All of these sentiments are based on physical sense knowledge.  I don’t have to reach out and touch the Lord, BECAUSE, He lives in me!  And we sing, “Just to have a touch, O Lord, from You.”  What do I want with touches when I’ve got the Holy spirit living inside me?
Trust God who already dwells within you!  Learn to become "God-inside-minded!”                                             

Follow: Greek-akoloutheo - it can mean “accompany” and “assist’ and “follow.” The word “acolyte” is derived from akoloutheo. An acolyte is an assistant or attendant.

This is such a simple word that has more meaning to it than just, “follow along.” Jesus wanted the people to be doers of what they heard and saw him do. He wanted them to learn to do the work of the gospel. He wanted them to “assist” and “accompany” him. His job in calling the disciples to “follow” HIM was so much more. He was training them to “assist’ and “accompany” him in learning and doing the work of the gospel. As He spoke what He heard His Father say, and did what His Father told him to do, He in turn taught his disciples to do the same thing. Jesus told them to “follow” Him.

This word follow carries the same meaning when Paul said to follow his example. 1Corinthians 11:1. You must follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. [Contemporary English Version]

In other words, we are to imitate Jesus. That is what Paul told the Christians. To follow his example as he fol-lowed the example of Christ.

So first of all we are to “follow” the examples of Christ; we are to learn of His ways. Then there are others that we are to “follow” as they follow Christ.

The body of Christ is what the world sees. They should be able to “follow” our examples, as we follow Jesus.

So, your life may not be in the lights of famous, but it is in the lights of Jesus. People will see righteousness and truth living through you. Because of that, it will help them to re-adjust their way of life that may be off track of God’s Word. They will “follow” your example.

Next time you are “following”, or “assisting”, or “attending “someone compare their life to The Word and make sure it lines up. If you are not for sure, ask Holy Spirit. He will tell you. He came to be our ‘helper, teacher, . . . anything we have need of. He is there to help us.

Compromise (noun or verb) (1) An agreement made between two people or groups in which each side gives up some of the things they want so that both sides are happy at the end. (2) A settlement of differences by arbitration or by consent reached by mutual concessions

The following story came from a daily devotional that was sent to us. I do not know who the author of it is, but it is a great example of compromise.

A Russian parable tells of a hunter who once raised his rifle and took careful aim at a large bear. When the man was about to pull the trigger, the bear spoke in a soft, soothing voice. “Isn’t it better to talk than to shoot? What do you want? Let us negotiate the matter.” Lowering his rifle, the hunter replied, “I want a fur coat.”

“Good,” said the bear. “That is a negotiable question. I only want a full stomach, so let’s negotiate a compromise.” They sat down to negotiate, and after a time, the bear walked away alone. The negotiations had been successful. The bear had his full stomach, and the hunter had his fur coat.

The moral of the parable is that compromise never satisfies both parties in equal measure.

Relating that to the Christian walk, we could say this: The Christian who compromises his or her Christian values always ends up on the losing end. James 4:4 says, “Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God?” When we compromise with the world, we set ourselves against God’s best guidance and end up getting swallowed by something foolish in the world.

Compromise short-circuits the believer. How do we avoid the pitfalls of compromise? Ephesians 5:15-16 says, “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Be wise, believer! Walk circumspectly, walk carefully, don’t compromise with those things in the world that can easily cause you as an individual to fall.

Hey… let us all consider the word compromise.
