PRAYING AND SAYING
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye
desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them,
and ye shall have them. MARK 11:24
Faith will work by saying without praying (notice Mark
11:23 doesn’t mention praying), but faith also works by
prayer.
However, when you pray it, you still have to say (or
confess) it.

Let me repeat that: FAITH will work by SAYING it, or it
will work by PRAYING it, but when you PRAY it, you
still have to SAY it.
MARK 11:23 and 24 brought me off a bed of sickness
many years ago. After I had prayed, then I began to
say (not think) out loud in my room, “ I believe that I
receive healing for my body.” Then I specified each
thing that was wrong with me: “I believe I receive
healing for the heart condition. I believe I receive
healing for this paralysis. I believe I receive healing for
the incurable blood disease.”
And just in case I had missed anything, I concluded,
“I believe that I receive healing from the top of my
head to the soles of my feet.”
Within the hour every symptom of physical deficiency
disappeared from my body, and I was standing on the
floor beside the bed—healed!

Confession: What things soever I desire, when I pray,
I believe that I receive them. I confess what I believe.
I hold fast to my confession. And I never fail to receive
them.

After all, Jesus said: “Have FAITH IN GOD. Truly , I
say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘be taken
up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart,                                                                                                                                                                       but believes that what he says will come to
pass, it will be done for him. (MARK 11:22-23)

FLEECES?
A NEW HEART ALSO WILL I GIVE YOU, AND A

YOUR FLESH, AND I WILL GIVE YOU AN HEART
OF FLESH, AND I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT WITHIN
YOU . . . Ezekiel 36, 26,27
To receive guidance, some people put out what
they call a “fleece” before the Lord. Gideon did.
Remember, Gideon was not a prophet, priest, or
king. Only men who stood in those three offices,
under the Old Covenant, were anointed by the
Spirit of God, The Spirit of God was not personally
present with the rest of the people. That is why
every male had to present himself once a year at
the Temple in Jerusalem. That was old covenant.
The new covenant …
Then Shekinah glory — the Presence of God —
was kept shut up in the Holy of Holies. But when
Jesus died on Calvary, the curtain that blocked the
way into the Holy of Holies was ripped in two from
top to bottom. God moved out —- and He has
never dwelled in an earth=made house since! HE
DWELLS IN US! Ask of HIM. HE will hear you,                                         
you, and answer you.

BORN OF THE SPIRIT
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of
the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be
born again.
JOHN 3:6,7
BORN OF THE SPIRIT. The spirit of man is the part of man
which is born again. The Christian’s spirit has the life and
nature of God in it. The inward man is born of God’s Spirit and
has the Spirit of God in Him.
FILLED WITH THAT SPIRIT. The born-again Christian can be
filled with that same Spirit which he already has in him. And
when he is filled with that Spirit, there will be an overflowing of
that Spirit. He will speak with other tongues as the Holy Spirit
gives him utterance.
(Acts2:4).
LED BY THE SPIRIT. “For as many as are led by the Spirit of
God, they are the sons of God.” Even the born-again one who
has not been filled with the Spirit, has the Spirit of God abiding
in him —- and he can expect to be led and guided by the Holy
Spirit.
You are a child of God. You are born of the Spirit of God. The
Spirit of God leads you. Holy Spirit will rise big in you. He will
give illumination to your mind. Holy Spirit will give direction to
your spirit.

SPEAKING LIES IN HYPOCRISY; HAVING THEIR
CONSCIENCE SEARED WITH A HOT IRON. 1
TIMOTHY 4:2
Keep a tender conscience —- don’t violate it ___
because it is your conscience, the voice of your spirit,
that relates to your mind what the spirit of God is
saying to you down inside. If you don’t keep a tender
conscience, spiritual things will not be clear to you.
It is like drinking a hot liquid; coffee, soups, hot
chocolate. You start out with it just a bit over warm,
then the temperature of it over time gets increased.
Increased to the point that your throat gets seared and
the liquid can be very, very hot. Scalding hot!
The same thing can happen spiritually. Keep a tender
conscience. Stop the minute you miss it and your
conscience condemns you.
Say, “Lord forgive me. I missed it.”
Or if you need to, tell someone you have wronged, “I
did wrong. Please forgive me.”

JAMES 1:8-14
8) Jesus, the Anointed One, is always the same
- - - yesterday, today, and forever. 9) So don’t
let anyone lead you astray with all sorts of novel
and exotic teachings. It is more beautiful to
feast on grace and be inwardly strengthened
than to be obsessed with dietary rules which in
themselves have no lasting benefit.
10) We feast on a sacrifice at our spiritual altar,
but those who serve as priest in the old system
of worship have no right to eat of it.
11) For the high priest carries the blood of
animals into the holiest chamber as a sacrifice
for sin, and then burns the bodies of the
animals outside the city.
12) And Jesus, our sin sacrifice, also suffered
death outside the city walls to make us holy by
his own blood.
13). So we must arise and join him outside the
religious “walls” and bear his disgrace.
14) For we have no city here on earth to be
our permanent home, but we seek the city that
is destined to come.

Confession: Lord Jesus, I want You to
have Your way in every area of my life, I
want You to have Your say-so in every
area of my life - in the books I read, in the
company I keep, in the amusements I
enjoy, in my companions in my marriage,
in my home, in my finances, and in the way
I spend my time.

For which cause we faint not; but though our
outward man perish, yet the inward man is
renewed day by day
2 Corinthians 4:16
The outward man is seen.
The inward man is that “hidden man.”
Paul is saying the inward man is unseen and
eternal.
Our earthly house (body) is decaying. When it
dies, is put into the grave, is dissolved, and
goes back to dust—that is not the end!
The inward man is eternal!
The hidden man of the heart is eternal.
The hidden man is a spirit man—-and he is
eternal.
You are a spirit —- and you are eternal!
Confession: I am an eternal spirit being. I look
not to the things which are seen. I look at the                                                                                                                                                                                          things which are not seen. For the things which
are seen are temporal, but the things which are
not seen are eternal.

BY FAITH WE UNDERSTAND: 1 Now faith is the substance of
things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
FAITH AT THE DAWN OF HISTORY:
:6 But without FAITH it is impossible to please Him, for he
who comes to God must believe that HE is, and that HE is a
rewarder of those who diligently seek HIM.
:7 By FAITH Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet
seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving
of his household, by which he condemned the world and be
came heir of the righteousness which is according to FAITH.

PENTECOST SUNDAY

50 DAYS FROM DEATH/RESURRECTION OF
JESUS ON THE CROSS TO the DAY OF
PENTECOST IN THE UPPER ROOM
(Jesus died ; upper room = 50 days)
Pentecost means 50.
Pentecost is 50 days from Jesus death to ALL
in the Upper Room being filled with Holy Spirit.
And each spoke in other tongues as the Spirit
gave them utterance.                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Pentecost is celebrated on the seventh Sunday
after Resurrection Sunday /Easter (which is
also fifty (50) days after Resurrection
Sunday/Easter). Since its date depends on the
date of Resurrection Sunday/Easter,
Pentecost is a moveable feast, that is, the date
is not fixed. Resurrection Sunday/Easter + 49
days.
Pentecost Sunday also represents releasing of
Holy Spirit in power and demonstration. Acts
2:43 Then fear [awe, reverence] came upon
every soul, and many wonders and signs were
done through the apostles.
This would be a great time to gather with like-
minded Christians and allow Holy Spirit to be
invited into the group. Then wait and see what
He does, or what He wants done. He is never
dull or boring. He is always ready to release
what Father God wants done to those seeking
Him.

MARY (mother of Jesus) was an original pentecostal.
MARY, the mother of Jesus, was a powerful woman who
found great favor with God and was chosen to give birth to
the Long-awaited Messiah. Luke 1:26…
MARY was receptive to Word of God delivered by the
angel. MARY said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord!
Let it be to me according to your word.” LUKE 1:38
(maidservant = servant, slave). [sometimes God tells us to
do something and we ask “how”. Jeremiah 33:3 says, “call
out to me and I will show you great; mighty things]                                                                                                                                                                                      MARY had been watched by God. He knew her
submissive, faithful heart; she walked in holiness. MARY
found favor in the eyes of God.
MARY was with Jesus all through His ministry, at the
Cross, and with Him after His resurrection. She was also
present in the upper room (Act 1:14)on the day of
Pentecost, making her one of the original Pentecostals
who received the baptism in the Holy Spirit. ACTS 2:1-4
MARY, being Jesus’ mother endured sweet and hard times
during his ministry on this earth. What a great example
she left for anyone wanting to be obedient to God with a
submissive heart.
