NEW BEGINNINGS FOR FOLKS AT CORNERSTONE:
Just as the trees/plants go dormant for winter time and the
roots are being enforced; the same thing happens spiritually in
our spiritual growth. On the surface It seems life is diminishing
in our goals. But as we stay grounded in HIS WORD our lives
are being enforced and enriched for new growth. In our geographical area there are 4 seasons, spiritually each season
brings new growth , whether seen or unseen.
Fall season: it starts preparing by what seems like “drying-up”,
and life and color seems to disappear. As it should.
Winter season: Most leaves, due to lack of nourishment,
(spiritual pruning) have dried up and fallen off the branch,
leaving the branch bare. But the roots are alive and well;
getting stronger as they are able to focus on growth.
Spring season: the trees begin to send the results of resting
underneath the ground, and growing roots. We begin to see
new life, buds, greenery, flowers, gardens bearing their crops
from early planting. Spiritually we begin to grow to another
level by hearing revelations from Holy Spirit. Revelations that
are personal, or to share with others. We begin to “bud out” in
our new growth.
Summer season: Due to hot temperatures in this region, staying
in a cool place is sought. Sometimes spiritually situations get
“hot, good, or bad”. Those are the times when we are already
prepared to focus and release The Word, whether for “hot,
good, or bad”. Time spent in The Word prepares the spirit-man
for events we encounter. Because we have grown spiritually
during the Winter season the Fruit of the Spirit can come forth
instead of the carnal man.
This is not a teaching, it is just a reminder that we all have
pruning seasons, quiet seasons, growth seasons, and last but
not least, we have action seasons; spiritual duty to carry out for
the Kingdom of God.
You are blessed and highly favored of God.

God promises us that in the end it will all be worth it
and we’ll understand everything we went through
along the way. Jeremiah 29:11 says God has good
plans for us, a hope and a future. Does that mean it
will always be easy or get what we want? Nope, not at
all. What it does mean is that we can trust him—no
matter what.
Have a great week!

L E T I T G O
Whatever things were gain to me, those things I have
counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Philippians 3:7
When “things,” even things that are cause for
celebration or expectation, begin to rob you of His joy,
take a careful look at the “thing” in the light of eternity.
If it will hinder you from getting on with what God has
for you. Let it go.
TAKE EVERY THOUGHT CAPTIVE
We are destroying speculations and every lofty
thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and
we are taking every thought captive to the
obedience of Christ.
When something robs you of your peace of mind, ask
yourself if it is worth the energy you are expending on
it. If not, then put it out of your mind in an act of
discipline.
Every time the thought of “it” returns, refuse it.

I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and
delivered me from all my fears. They looked to
Him and were radiant, and their faces will never
be ashamed. This poor man cried, and the
Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his
troubles. PSALM 34:4-6
When all seems dark, remember the Son never
ceases to shine. Look to Him. Cry to Him. He
will dispel the darkness of the blackest night.
When my anxious thoughts multiply within me,
Your consolations delight my soul. Psalm 94:19
What can you do when fear strikes? Get into
the Word of God. If you don’t know where to
turn in the Word and if God doesn’t lay any
specific passages on your heart, turn to the
Psalms. Find refuge in God and His infallible
Word. Read until His Peace mounts a guard
around your mind, heart, and soul.

THE SOLUTION TO EVERY PROBLEM
If Your law had not been my delight, then I would have
perished in my affliction. I will never forget Your
precepts, for by them You have revived me. Psalms
119:92-93
Do we realize that the solution to every problem, every
hurt, every dilemma can be found between the covers
of His holy Word—in its precepts, principles,
examples, commands, promises, warnings, and
teachings? To partake of it daily is to be nourished
and made strong—prepared for every situation of life.
FEAR THE LORD
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.
Proverbs 1:7
The word for “fear” in today’s Scripture means a
reverential trust and awesome respect. If we really
respect God for who He is, then we will make listening
to Him a priority. If we fear Him, we’ll trust what He
says and live accordingly, no matter what the situation.
Then we’ll have His wisdom for every situation of life.

MY REFUGE
YOU ARE Y HIDING PLACE AND Y SHIELD; I WAIT
FOR YOUR WORD. Psalm 119:114
When you know God and His Word, you
know where to run for refuge, you know where to
rest your case, you know who has all the facts.
And this knowledge eases all the tension as you
enter the rest of faith.
FOOD FOR LIFE
He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed
you with manna. . . that He might make you
understand that man does not live by bread alone,
but man lives by everything that proceeds out of
the mouth of the LORD.
If you begin to study the Bible on a daily
basis and live by what God says, you will soon
discover that being in the Word on a daily basis is
like gathering manna every day. It is food for life.
A moment with God is fine—but it’s just a nibble.
So we are encouraged to study it precept
upon precept, learning the Bible book by book.
